The websites swederdesignco.com and taploop.net and the TapLoop mobile application (collectively, "Platform") are owned and operated by Alex Sweder Art, LLC, a Massachusetts limited liability company ("Company", "we", or "us"). The term "you" refers to the user and/or viewer of this Platform. By using our Platform, you agree to and acknowledge being bound by the following terms of this Privacy Policy, and any information that you contribute or provide to Company is subject to these terms.
The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to inform you how we collect, use, process, and distribute your personal information. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy. The use of information collected through our Platform shall be limited to the purposes described in this Privacy Policy and our Terms and Conditions.
By using our Platform or its content, you consent to this Privacy Policy, whether or not you have read it.
Personal information collected includes that which you provide voluntarily when you activate a TapLoop keychain, create an account, set up your CRM portal, configure an Emergency Contact keychain, subscribe to a paid plan, or contact us. Personal information we may collect includes, but is not limited to:
Personal information collected is given to us voluntarily and, as such, you are giving us consent to use, collect, and process such personal information. If you choose not to provide us with certain personal information, you may not be able to participate in or access certain aspects of our Platform.
You understand that your decision to provide any information to us is voluntary and constitutes your clear consent to allow us to collect, process, and retain it.
We collect information you provide when activating or setting up your TapLoop keychain or account, when setting up or using the CRM portal, when subscribing to a paid plan, or when contacting us for support. We use this information to:
The TapLoop CRM portal allows account holders to collect and store business contact information gathered when another person taps or scans their TapLoop keychain or profile page. When a person taps a keychain and chooses to share their contact information, that information is stored in the account holder's CRM portal. Company acts as a data processor for this contact information on behalf of the account holder.
Account holders are solely responsible for the lawful collection, storage, and use of CRM contact data, including compliance with CAN-SPAM, the TCPA, and applicable state privacy laws. Company is not responsible for how account holders use or communicate with contacts stored in the CRM portal.
When a person taps or scans a TapLoop keychain or profile, they are presented with a TapLoop-hosted page that may offer the opportunity to share their contact information. This page includes a notice that contact information may be saved to the account holder's contact database, along with a link to this Privacy Policy. Contact information is only captured when the person voluntarily submits it through the form. No information is captured silently or without the tapper's active submission.
Account holders may configure their tap page to present contact sharing as optional (the default), required, or disabled. Where sharing is presented as required to continue, users are informed of this before any information is submitted.
Company offers AI-assisted email drafting and related features powered by the Anthropic Claude API. To generate drafts, contact names, notes, and CRM context from your account may be transmitted to Anthropic for processing. Voice note recordings or transcripts may also be processed to support AI features. By using AI-assisted features, you consent to this processing. Anthropic's privacy practices are governed by Anthropic's own privacy policy, available at anthropic.com.
Company offers a feature that allows account holders to BCC their TapLoop dashboard email address on outgoing emails. When you choose to use this feature, the content of those emails, including recipient information and message body, is stored in your CRM portal and associated with the relevant contact. This feature is entirely user-initiated; nothing is captured automatically.
If you set up a TapLoop Emergency Contact keychain, the information you enter, including emergency contact names, phone numbers, allergies, and medical conditions, will be publicly accessible to any person who taps or scans that keychain. You choose what information to include. We strongly encourage you to include only information you are comfortable sharing with any person who may scan the keychain in an emergency situation. You may update or delete this information at any time using the update link sent to your email at activation.
The Platform collects first-party usage data to improve performance and user experience. Usage data, including session activity, feature usage, and interaction patterns, is stored in our own database. We do not use Google Analytics, third-party advertising pixels, or other third-party tracking tools.
The Platform uses Cloudflare Turnstile for bot protection on public-facing forms, which processes IP address and browser data to verify that form submissions are made by humans. We do not sell this information to third parties.
Your information is stored and processed using the following third-party service providers ("Sub-Processors"). Each Sub-Processor is engaged under contractual obligations to protect your data:
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share information only as required by law, to protect the rights, property, or safety of Company, its users, or the public, or in connection with a sale or transfer of Company assets.
Our Platform and servers operate within the United States. The laws of the United States and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts govern matters relating to this Platform.
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active. Cancelling a paid subscription does not close your account; your account is moved to the free tier and your data remains intact. If you delete your account, all associated data, including CRM contacts, profile information, and stored files, is deleted immediately and permanently. This action is irreversible. You may export your CRM contact data to CSV at any time before deleting your account.
Company may require you to create a username and password in order to use certain features of the Platform. Company is not responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the username and password you create. You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your username or password and within your account. We cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your username, password, or account information.
You agree to immediately notify Company at hello@taploop.net of any unauthorized or improper use of your username or password, or of any breach of security.
Company uses commercially reasonable methods to safeguard all personal information, including using reasonable online security measures and sharing your data only with reputable Sub-Processors. Company cannot guarantee the complete safeguard of all personal information; however, should we become aware that a data breach has occurred, we will timely notify the necessary parties with as much information as we have available.
While our team does our best to protect the information we collect and prevent any misuse, unauthorized access, or disclosure, you understand that we cannot be responsible should an unauthorized third party obtain access to your information without our consent.
You have the right to access, update, or delete your personal information at any time. To update your keychain destination or profile, log in to your account or use the update link sent to your email at activation. To request deletion of your data, you may delete your account directly through the Platform or contact us at hello@taploop.net.
You also have the right to request information concerning how your data is being used, correct any data which is no longer accurate, withdraw consent to the processing of your personal information, or restrict how your data is being used. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at hello@taploop.net.
If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at hello@taploop.net. We will respond to verified requests within 45 days as required by applicable law.
The Platform is intended for users 18 years of age and older. However, our Emergency Contact keychain product is specifically designed to help parents and guardians protect minor children. In this context, parents and guardians voluntarily enter information about their child. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.
Where a parent or guardian uses the Emergency Contact feature on behalf of a minor child, we rely on the parent or guardian's authority to provide that consent. Parents and guardians may update or delete emergency contact information at any time using the update link provided at activation.
If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a minor under 13 without parental consent, we will promptly delete that information. If you have any reason to believe we may have unknowingly collected data from a minor, please immediately contact us at hello@taploop.net.
Your TapLoop keychain or profile may redirect to third-party websites, including LinkedIn, Instagram, or personal websites. Company is not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites. We encourage you to review their individual privacy policies.
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to change, modify, or otherwise alter this Privacy Policy at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform following notice of any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
Should you have any questions regarding this Privacy Policy, or your rights contained herein, or would like to review, update, or remove your personal information, please contact us at hello@taploop.net.
